When you integrate your tools to The dash using FiveTran:
We may process (but never own) the following types of data:

- Metrics, timestamps, labels, custom fields
- Users, IDs, statuses, and metadata
- Any other information present in the tools you choose to connect
Credentials to your tools are stored securely. For FiveTan integrations, credentials go directly to FiveTan’s systems, and we never see or store them. For native integrations, credentials are encrypted before stored. They are kept in a private, secured database within our AWS infrastructure.
2.3. Usage Data
We may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Login timestamps
- Page views and dashboard interactions
- Performance logs
- Error logs
2.4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and security. We do not use advertising cookies inside The dash platform.
Basic analytics may be used on our marketing site www.thedashtool.com.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use personal and operational data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve The dash
- Display dashboards and analytics based on Your Data
- Secure your account and authenticate access
- Monitor system performance and prevent abuse

- Aggregated system performance analytics (non-personal)

All data processed through The dash is stored in Snowflake, a secure, enterprise grade cloud data platform.

- End to end encryption
- Role based access control
- Automatic backups
- 2FA authentication

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard protections, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS)

- Secure credential handling for both FiveTran and native integrations
- Network segmentation & firewalls
- Least privilege access controls
- Logging and monitoring
- Secure development practices
No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
8. Data Retention
We retain:
- Account data — while your subscription is active
- Log data — for security and auditing purposes, typically 30–90 days
- Synced data — for the duration of your subscription.
Encrypted backups are retained for 14 days.
When your account is closed:
- All synced data is automatically removed after account closure
- Some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., billing records)
9. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of:
- Your account
- Your organization’s workspace
- All synced data
- User-specific personal information

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
